When voters feel secure that their vote is counted accurately and without interference, they are more likely to believe in the legitimacy of the election results. Local elections authorities will address concerns about voter fraud, vote tampering, voting machine accuracy, and more. The purpose of the panel discussion is to inform citizens about the Winnebago county proposition on the November 5th ballot: “Proposition to extend a ½ percent special county retailers; occupation tax (sales tax) for mental health purposes.
