February 29, 2024 LWVEA “Meet the Candidates” Night Cancelled
Gail Borden Public Library 270 N Grove Ave., Elgin, IL, United StatesThe League of Women Voters of the Elgin Area invited candidates in contested races in the primary election to participate in a Meet the Candidates Night at 7:00 pm on February 29th, to be held at the Gail Borden Library. Races included Kane County Recorder, and Kane County Board districts 16 and 22. The event was cancelled due to insufficient candidate response. LWV policy prohibits events where only one candidate for office participates.
