When voters feel secure that their vote is counted accurately and without interference, they are more likely to believe in the legitimacy of the election results. Local elections authorities will address concerns about voter fraud, vote tampering, voting machine accuracy, and more. Speaker: Laura Bettis - Boone County Deputy Clerk Ms. Bettis will address common myths concerning the election process, ballot safety, and voter eligibility. Attendees will have opportunity to meet and greet local candidates for upcoming November 5th election. Co-hosted by LWV Greater Rockford, Rockton/Roscoe News and Harlem High School Student Council.
