DESCRIPTION:Please join the League of Women Voters of Greater Rockford for an exciting and informative civic event. Janie Rott\, Superintendent of the Water Division for the City of Rockford will kick things off by presenting: “Is Our Water Safe?” She will discuss city water issues\, PFA’s and the ongoing lead pipe removal program. This event is organized by our LWVGR Environmental Committee.\nThe water presentation will be followed by a Primary Candidate Meet and Greet where there are eight competitive races on the City of Rockford primary ballot!\nThe public is welcome and refreshments will be provided.
