DESCRIPTION:When voters feel secure that their vote is counted accurately and without interference\, they are more likely to believe in the legitimacy of the election results.\nLocal elections authorities will address concerns about voter fraud\, vote tampering\, voting machine accuracy\, and more.\nSpeaker: Laura Bettis – Boone County Deputy Clerk\nMs. Bettis will address common myths concerning the election process\,\nballot safety\, and voter eligibility.\nAttendees will have opportunity to meet and greet local candidates for upcoming November 5th election.\nCo-hosted by LWV Greater Rockford\, Rockton/Roscoe News and Harlem High School Student Council.
