DESCRIPTION:Since 1983\, the League of Women Voters has maintained the position that public policy in a pluralistic society must affirm the constitutional right of privacy of the individual to make reproductive choices. Join us to learn more about this topic from two very informed guest speakers.\nJanet Craft\, LWVIL Health and Reproductive Care Issues Specialist\, will talk about how LWV decides to take on an issue and include info on Time for Action messages from LWVIL.\nRianne Hawkins with IL Planned Parenthood Action is putting together a presentation about IL legislation\, perhaps touching on what’s happening in other states\, and the case before the U.S. Supreme Court.\nAdditional speakers may present.\nThe talk will be followed by a Q&A.\nLeague members are invited to register for this Zoom presentation.\nEveryone is invited to watch live on YouTube.
