Linda Rock Presents Artist Jane Peterson
Born & raised in Elgin, Jane Peterson (1878-1965) was once considered one of America’s most original and influential artists. Critically and popularly acclaimed, her paintings hang in museums across the country, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The National Museum of Women in the Arts and the Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum. Linda Rock’s presentation will showcase not only Peterson’s paintings but also the life of a most remarkable woman.
Attendees will enjoy a variety of finger sandwiches, scones, and finger-tip desserts as well as teas and other beverages.
