Anna Yesterday the Governor signed a good-government bill that I sponsored, HB3122, which eliminates publicly-funded pensions for part-time elected or appointed officials who serve on a local government governing board. Appointed or elected officials who work less than 1,000 hours a year shouldn't be eligible for a life-time pension on the taxpayers dime. Thank you to Senator Cristina Castro for sponsoring this bill in the Senate.
