League of Women Voters of Illinois TIME commissioned several iconic images from early women’s suffrage history to be colorized in honor of International Women’s Day. “The colors are particularly important: the flags and outfits of early suffragists (and supporters of progress for women today) used colors to represent the ideals they valued. League of Women Voters of Downers Grove, Woodridge and Lisle Congressman Peter Roskam will not hold public meetings with his constituents and has made clear his telephone town halls are campaign activities, not constituent services, which is what we thought, but it is good that distiction is made clear.
