Why are you seeking this position?

I am seeking the position of Dundee Township Trustee because I am passionate about serving our community and ensuring that local government works effectively for all residents. As a dedicated member of Dundee Township, I understand the importance of responsible governance, fiscal transparency, and community-driven initiatives.

My goal is to enhance township services, support sustainable growth, and foster a sense of unity among our residents. I will prioritize efficient budgeting, maintaining vital services, and advocating for policies that improve the quality of life for everyone. Dundee Township deserves leadership that listens, engages, and takes action based on the needs of the people.

With a commitment to accountability and collaboration, I will work to ensure that Dundee Township remains a great place to live, work, and raise a family. I look forward to earning your trust and serving our community with integrity and dedication.

What experience and background do you have which qualifies you for this position?

With 18 years of professional experience, I have gained valuable management skills, problem-solving abilities, and leadership experience that qualify me for the position of Dundee Township Trustee. My career has taught me the importance of accountability, collaboration, and making informed decisions—qualities that are essential for effective township governance.

Beyond my professional background, I have been actively involved in the Dundee Township Democrats, which has strengthened my commitment to public service and deepened my understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our community. This involvement has allowed me to engage with residents, listen to their concerns, and advocate for policies that promote growth, inclusivity, and fiscal responsibility.

My experience in both the workforce and local civic engagement has prepared me to serve as a Trustee with integrity, dedication, and a clear vision for the future of Dundee Township. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to the community in a meaningful way.

What will be your highest priorities if elected?

If elected as Dundee Township Trustee, my highest priorities will be fiscal responsibility, community engagement, and improving essential services.

I will work to ensure transparent and efficient budgeting so that taxpayer dollars are used wisely to support vital programs like the Mental Health Board, Ride in Kane, and open space preservation. These initiatives play a crucial role in supporting residents’ well-being, providing transportation for those in need, and maintaining the natural beauty of our township.

Another priority is strengthening community involvement. I will advocate for open communication between the township and residents, ensuring that their voices are heard and their concerns addressed. A strong community starts with engaged and informed citizens.

Additionally, I will focus on enhancing essential services, including senior programs, mental health resources, and assistance for families in need. By working collaboratively with local organizations, we can improve the quality of life for all residents.

With a commitment to accountability and service, I will work hard to make Dundee Township a better place for everyone.
