Position for which you are a candidate: Sleepy Hollow Village Board

Why are you seeking this position?

As a 31 year resident I now have the time to commit to the volunteer position of village trustee. While this is my first attempt at an elected position, I believe my 45 year experience in corporate sales, and sales management brings expertise to the board. I’ve experienced multiple scenarios serving on committees requiring teamwork and problem solving in challenging situations.

What experience and background do you have which qualifies you for this position?

While this is my first attempt at an elected position, I believe my 45 year experience in corporate sales, sales management, and committee assignments allows me to bring those experiences to the village board.
In addition I’ve regularly attended village meetings over the past few years. Doing so provided insight to issues the village is facing both near and long term. Plus I now have insight to, and understand concerns of village residents.

What will be your highest priorities if elected?

I believe resolving and finalizing developments plans is the highest priority. Closely followed by addressing village budgets, creating an improved communication plan for residents so they can be more engaged in the process.
