Why are you seeking this position?

As a Software Development Engineer, I’ve spent my career solving complex problems and building systems that make people’s lives easier. But beyond the work I do in tech, I care deeply about the well-being of my community. That’s why I’m seeking the Dundee Township Supervisor position. I want to serve my community and make a positive impact right here at home. I believe our township can benefit from fresh ideas and practical solutions—whether it’s making services more accessible, improving communication between residents and local government, or ensuring that every voice is heard. I’m committed to listening, collaborating, and working hard to create a stronger, more connected Dundee Township for everyone.

What experience and background do you have which qualifies you for this position?

As a Software Development Engineer, I bring a unique perspective to the Dundee Township Supervisor role—one rooted in problem-solving, innovation, and data-driven decision-making. I’m passionate about using my skills beyond the tech world to serve my community. I want to bring greater transparency, efficiency, and modernization to township operations, whether through streamlining services, improving communication channels, or using technology to make processes more accessible and accountable. My background equips me to analyze complex challenges, find scalable solutions, and work collaboratively—all of which are essential qualities for effective local governance. I believe Dundee Township deserves leadership that embraces smart solutions and forward-thinking approaches, and I’m eager to contribute to that vision.

What will be your highest priorities if elected?

1. Community Engagement & Transparency: I want to ensure that residents feel heard, informed, and involved in township decisions. That means open communication, accessible meetings, and clear channels for feedback.

2. Improving Services like General assistance and Ride-in-Kane for seniors and individuals with disabilities.

3. Modernizing Township Operations: I’ll work to make township services more efficient and accessible—leveraging technology to streamline processes, reduce bureaucracy, and make it easier for residents to get the help they need.

4. Economic and Workforce Development: I want to help foster a thriving local economy by supporting small businesses, connecting residents with job resources, and promoting opportunities for growth.

5. Responsible Fiscal Stewardship: I’ll manage our township budget with care and accountability—ensuring taxpayer dollars are used wisely and with measurable impact for our community.

6. Collaboration & Partnerships: I believe in working hand-in-hand with local organizations, schools, nonprofits, and other municipalities to create stronger, more connected community networks.
