Position for which you are a candidate: Wayne Village Trustee

Why are you seeking this position?

I am seeking reelection to the position of Village of Wayne Trustee because I am deeply committed to preserving and enhancing the unique character of our village. As a resident, I understand the importance of balancing progress with maintaining the rural charm and tight-knit community spirit that defines Wayne. I believe that thoughtful, strategic leadership is essential to address both current challenges and future growth, ensuring that we remain a place where individuals and families thrive, and nature is respected.

My motivation stems from a desire to continue to contribute to the long-term vitality of Wayne, whether through improving local services, protecting our green spaces, or fostering a collaborative relationship between residents and village officials. I am passionate about being a voice for the community and ensuring that decisions are made with transparency and the best interests of all residents in mind. Serving as a trustee would allow me to bring my dedication and vision to help guide the village towards a sustainable and prosperous future

What experience and background do you have which qualifies you for this position?

I am a committed authentic citizen that has served one term as trustee. As well as a board member to local community groups. I have experience in leadership roles where positivity and collaborative are paramount

What will be your highest priorities if elected?

Community engagement will be my priority. This ensure residents voices are heard and reflected in village decisions. Encouraging participation fosters trust and transparency. A key focus should be on promoting volunteerism, where residents contribute their time and skills to improve village projects and initiatives. By involving the community directly in efforts such as event planning, park maintenance, or safety programs, we can strengthen the sense of ownership and pride in Wayne, making it a more unified and resilient village.
