Name: Alan Hall
POSITION FOR WHICH YOU ARE A CANDIDATE:
East Dundee Trustee
Why are you seeking this position?
I am currently serving my inaugural term and have grown to enjoy serving the residents, especially the seniors, of East Dundee. I would like to continue this service for an additional term and then step down to allow other individuals to participate in service to the residents of the Village.
What experience and background do you have which qualifies you for this position?
I have lived and worked in East Dundee for over 25 years and have been a business owner for over 35 years. As a senior citizen, resident and business owner I understand the challenges prevalent to many of our residents. I desire to enact policies that will lessen the burdens on our residents, while maintaining the services and events the Village has become known for; such as Dickens in Dundee and the Saint Patrick’s Day Parade, that brings thousands of people to our Village.
What will be your greatest challenge if elected?
I feel my greatest challenge will be to continue to look for ways to lessen the monetary burden on our senior citizens and those residents who are living on fixed incomes, while maintaining sufficient capital for the Village to fund the Events and Services th Village is known for.
Will you attend the March 12th Dundee Candidate Forum? Yes, I will attend the forum
