Why are you seeking this position?
I have been following the issues in the district over the last few years and believe that my experience can be used in bringing some needed changes to the district.
What experience and background do you have which qualifies you for this position?
I have a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and have worked as a Substitute Teacher in U-46. I have also tutored students through Wayne Area Youth and Family Services (WAYS). My Engineering Background will bring proven innovative thinking to the board to ensure that teachers receive the resources they need to provide the children with a quality education.
What will be your greatest challenge if elected?
I believe my greatest challenge will be to ensure a quality education to the students of the U-46 school district while holding the Administration accountable to the interests of the community. We need to ensure the best quality education at a reasonable cost to the taxpayers.
