Rutland-Dundee Fire Protection District
Why are you seeking this position?
To have a Trustee on the board with actual experience in the fire service within this district.
What experience and background do you have which qualifies you for this position?
Former firefighter/paramedic retired with 20yrs experience 1974-1994. Graduated from the second ever paramedic training class offered by Sherman Hospital 1975. Former Treasurer then President of the board before being replaced by an appointee from the Kane County Board. During my tenure the department was raised to a Class 2 rating and operated in the black while fully funding our pension. 5 years 2012-2017.
What will be your greatest challenge if elected?
To provide the best possible service to the residents of the district within the budgetary constraints of our tax structure.
