TRUST Act Passes Illinois House, Paves Way for Illinois to Become Most Welcoming State for Immigrants
The Illinois House voted 62-49, with 7 abstentions, to forbid local law enforcement from complying with unconstitutional detention requests from the federal immigration agency.
