POSITION FOR WHICH YOU ARE A CANDIDATE:

Community Unit School Dist. 300

1.  Why are you seeking this position?

I have spent my entire professional life involved in public education. Now that I am retired, I want to give back to the community and the school district that have given me so much. I care deeply about our school district and the education the children in District 300 receive on a daily basis.

2.  What experience and background do you have which qualifies you for this position?

My 40 year professional background includes: high school teacher at Naperville North High School, Naperville, IL; assistant principal at Spring High School, Spring, TX; elementary principal at Link Elementary, Spring, TX; elementary principal at Lincoln Elementary, Kenosha, WI; superintendent of schools in Kansasville, WI; superintendent of schools in Winter, WI; superintendent of schools in Nekoosa, WI; associate superintendent of schools in District 300; elementary principal at Hampshire Elementary in District 300; principal mentor in District 300.

3.  What will be your greatest challenge if elected?

To continue to provide a high quality education for all children at an affordable price to the taxpayers of the district.
