POSITION FOR WHICH YOU ARE A CANDIDATE:
Village of Gilberts Trustee
1. Why are you seeking this position?
I have lived in Gilberts the past 15 years. It is where my wife and I chose to settle down and start a family after we got married. We now have a ten year old son and an eight year old daughter. When I moved here it was apparent that Gilberts was in store for a real growth boom coming its way. Since then there has been many changes, the population has more than tripled. I am seeking this position knowing that Gilberts is going to continue to grow, but I want to ensure that it remains that family oriented community while doing so.
2. What experience and background do you have which qualifies you for this position?
I have served three consecutive terms as trustee on the village board, not to mention various past committees and events that have taken place in town.
3. What will be your greatest challenge if elected?
That is hard to say at this point. A lot can or can not happen in a four year period. So at this point the best answer I can give is having the ability to make adjustments and except change as it comes your way.
