NAME: Steven J Schuldt

POSITION FOR WHICH YOU ARE A CANDIDATE:

Rutland Township Trustee

1.  Why are you seeking this position?

To continue the same philosophy the current board has, which is the wise and prudent spending of the taxpayers money. I wish to continue to hold the current levy as low as possible to maintain the current level of services.

2.  What experience and background do you have which qualifies you for this position?

I have served as a Township Trustee for 12 years and been a small business owner in Gilberts for over 40 years(Tessendorf Mechanical Services). I have always pledged to serve the township residents the same way I serve my customers, which is to conduct myself with integrity and concern for their bottom line – by being a wise steward of the taxpayer dollars.

3.  What will be your greatest challenge if elected?

My greatest challenge will come if our watchdog group does not get elected. Our group has the same concerns as I do, which is keeping our levy as flat as possible. I have chosen to align myself with other like-minded candidates who truly care about the spending of the taxpayer dollars and wish to protect the residents from wasteful spending.
