Rutland Township Trustee

1.  Why are you seeking this position?

I am seeking a second 4-year term as trustee to continue representing the taxpayers & residents of Rutland Township; continue to oversee & implement the public policies initiated during my first term, such as freezing township levies, closely monitoring all expenses, operating efficiently, serving as a faithful steward of township resources, & generally giving voice to the over-burdened taxpayers of Rutland Township.

2.  What experience and background do you have which qualifies you for this position?

Previous public & private services include:
Two terms as Rutland Township Supervisor (2001 to 2009)
Rutland Township Trustee (2013 to 2017)
Bulmahn, Ulbrich & Corbett – CPAs, Arlington Hts, IL (1972 – 1999)
Certified Public Accountant – Financial & tax consultant, Huntley, IL (1999 to 2017)

3.  What will be your greatest challenge if elected?

Balancing the needs of Rutland Township residents with available resources
Minimizing property tax levies to relieve over-burdened property tax payers
Working in cooperative manner with other trustees & elected officials of the township
