Rutland Township Clerk

1.  Why are you seeking this position?

I feel that it is time for me to give back to the community.

2.  What experience and background do you have which qualifies you for this position?

I have an MM in Accounting and Finance from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, as well as experience in corporate and volunteer organizations, and so have a solid background in governance, accounting and financial controls. I have been involved with the operations of family businesses, and currently am on the Board of Directors, serving as Secretary, for Kriisa Research, Inc. I have served as Treasurer for the Elgin Symphony Family Board, Chairman of my congregation Immanuel Lutheran in East Dundee, Chairman of the American Orchid Society Chicago Regional Judging Center, and am currently stage manager for the Elgin Master Chorale. I am an Intuit QuickBooksOnline Certified User.

3.  What will be your greatest challenge if elected?

I’m certain unexpected challenges await, and I’m also confident that I can meet them.
