POSITION FOR WHICH YOU ARE A CANDIDATE:
Rutland Township Road Commissioner
1. Why are you seeking this position?
As I am the current Highway Commissioner and have been the last 12 years, I would like to continue my hard work and dedication to the residents and taxpayers of Rutland Township.
2. What experience and background do you have which qualifies you for this position?
I have 30 years of experience with Local 150 Operating Engineers as a heavy equipment operator, building roads, water/sewer drainage and snow removal, and with being the Highway Commissioner for Rutland Township I now have experience with Levy’s and budgets and a good working relationship with surrounding governments and KDOT.
3. What will be your greatest challenge if elected?
Keeping current with the political changes in Springfield and the ongoing changes in our Illinois weather.
